How would you use the green tour grant to make your tour green and reduce bottled water waste?

I think it goes without saying that we all need to make an effort to be more green. It can be difficult to be green on the road, though. Often when you get to venues the only available water is in water bottles, and then, when the show is over, you'll take the remaining water bottles with you in the van to have as water. Because everyone seems to do it this way, it can be difficult to step outside of the box and realise just how damaging this is to the environment. Of course, I don't need to go into the logic of why using loads of plastic to put water into is a silly idea, but decreasing the environmental impact of this is literally as easy as just having a water bottle and a filter that you reuse. It basically takes no additional effort. No-one can be perfect all the time, but I think it's important to make an effort to use a reusable water bottle as often as you can.

How do you encourage your fans to take on more sustainable habits?

To be perfectly honest, I haven't had the opportunity to have a conversation with our fans about their environmental habits. I'm also not one to preach. But I like to think that if they saw one of us using a reusable water bottle, it might inspire them to do the same.
