How would you use the green tour grant to make your tour green and reduce bottled water waste?

Sometime during the course of a ten-thousand mile tour in our rickety 1993 Winnebago, we came to realize the irony (or perhaps downright hypocrisy) of proudly advertising that our band T-shirts were made entirely from recycled materials, since we were, after all, peddling these very shirts from our 6-mile-per-gallon leviathan of a vehicle. Considering the general poverty of a traveling band, not to mention the claustrophobia and daily perils which accompany RV life, there remains so little energy and money at the end of each day that a man feels compelled to disregard the destructive voyage that his improperly-disposed-of plastic bottle will inevitably take—lest the weary traveler's conscience swindle him out of even a moment of sweet, necessary sleep. The Brita / REVERB Green Grant, therefore, would be most beneficial, for it would allow our music to bring a bit of genuine good to this Earth, without thereby precipitating environmental harm.

How do you encourage your fans to take on more sustainable habits?

Facebook, mailing list, and good old-fashioned on-stage preachin'.
