The Partnership for a Healthier America (http://ahealthieramerica.org/) is devoted to working with the private sector to ensure the health of our nation's youth by solving the childhood obesity crisis. Brita has become an official supporter of the collaboration launched by the Partnership for a Healthier America and its honorary chairwoman First Lady Michelle Obama to encourage everyone to drink more water more often. As a supporter, Brita has committed to raising awareness and money for the efforts.
Over the next year, Brita is dedicating a significant amount of marketing and advertising efforts to promote the effort, including working with Eva Longoria to create a uniquely designed on-the-go water bottle. In addition, Brita will be talking up "Drink Up" (http://youarewhatyoudrink.org/) via its partnership with NBC's "The Biggest Loser."
When we set out to find a reusable bottle partner to help launch the FilterForGood® campaign in 2007, Nalgene was a natural choice. Nalgene is beloved for their reliable, reusable, leak-proof containers and we are happy to partner with them to encourage people to reduce water bottle waste.
The Haws® Corporation, in partnership with the Brita brand, has developed the Brita® Hydration Station™. This touch-free, hygienic, water dispenser provides users the benefits of healthier, great-tasting, Brita® filtered water without the waste and cost of bottled water or inconvenience of 5-gallon jugs. Manufactured and distributed by Haws®, the leader in drinking fountains for over 100 years, the Brita® Hydration Station™ can help sustainability efforts by reducing the consumption of as many as 36,000 standard 16.9oz bottles each year.
FilterForGood® partners with The Environmental Media Association (EMA) to harness the power of celebrity and the media to promote sustainable lifestyles and inspire action. EMA believes that through television, film and music, the entertainment community has the power to influence the environmental awareness of millions of people.
For the fifth year in a row, Brita® FilterForGood® is teaming up with the Sundance Film Festival to provide Brita Hydration Stations and reusable Nalgene bottles to eliminate the need for 50,000 plastic water bottles throughout the Festival.
Brita® and FilterForGood® have been working with NBC’s “The Biggest Loser” since season 5 to eliminate bottled water waste from the show’s campus and make it easier for contestants to meet weight loss goals with healthier1, great-tasting water.

Our partnership with Surfrider Foundation aims to motivate individuals to make positive choices to preserve the quality and integrity of the global water supply. Brita donated $100,000 to the foundation to help protect coastlines worldwide.
Brita® FilterForGood® and REVERB team up to eliminate plastic bottle waste in music. Over the last several years, the Brita® FilterForGood® program has teamed up with the nonprofit REVERB to help stars like Jason Mraz, fun. and Jack Johnson cut their bottled water waste when they are on the road. Now, REVERB is helping Brita® extend that rock star treatment to up-and-coming bands, too.
Brita® FilterForGood® and Janelle Monáe teamed up on a mission to help college students reduce bottled water waste on the 2011 Fall Campus Consciousness Tour.
Dave Matthews Band and Brita® FilterForGood® teamed up to encourage fans to reduce their bottled water waste at DMB Caravan 2011 summer events! Fans ditched bottled water and filled up on H2O for free at Brita Hydration Stations by Haws throughout the festival grounds. The DMB Caravan Tour also saved more than 311,000 plastic bottles backstage.
O.A.R. partnered with the Brita® FilterForGood® campaign to take its Green Dream Eco-Village efforts to new heights as part of the band's 2012 Summer Crush Tour. O.A.R. not only offered free Brita-filtered water at the shows, but also helped fans learn about ways to make simple, eco-friendly changes in their lives.
The Brita® FilterForGood® campaign teamed up with the Black Eyed Peas for The E.N.D. 2010 World Tour from August 3–23, to reduce bottled water waste and support the tour’s recycling efforts to fully embrace “reuse, reduce, recycle”.
With the help of Reverb, Brita® FilterForGood® teamed up with rock band Guster to reduce water waste on their 2011 Spring tour.
