Stainless Steel 5 10
Stainless Steel Pitcher leaks Horrible pitcher. When you tilt it or fill the filtering reservoir to cover the filter, it leaks all over the counter. Seems to go down the handle and leak from the bottom. Wicked annoying. Wish my last pitcher had not broken! Too late to return too so we are stuck with it until it breaks. Too bad they last so long!
Nice Looking But.........Leaks I bought this about 3 weeks ago from Sam's Club. This was to replace our old BRITA unit. Great looking and was happy the stainless would match everything else. Unfortunately, the unit leaks....not having the receipt I may be SOL. I am hoping CS can help.
Too bad it leaks We were so pleased with ourselves when we bought this pitcher because it has a really beautiful design, unfortunately it leaks. Other reviews state the leak originating from the handle, but upon closer inspection, the leak seems to be coming right from the bottom of the pitcher. For me, this is a deal breaker when it comes to countertop water pitchers. Just a friendly warning; don't be seduced by the sleek design, unless you don't mind having water puddles on your countertop. I'm returning mine.
Leaks and awkward shape The water tastes great, but similar to other reviews, my pitcher constantly leaks, and I've had to wipe out my fridge every time I pull out the pitcher. The design looks nice, but its very tall and awkward to try and put into the fridge unless you have extra tall shelves or door space.
Worst pitcher ever This pitcher is horrible. I bought it from soap.com. I returned the first one because of a giant crack in the bottom of it. I was sent a replacement but it leaks, it it made of thin delicate plastic and the indicator lights don't work at all. So frustrated!
Great pitcher I have to admit I felt unsure about buying this pitcher after I read the reviews. I don't know why it leaks on the side for some people but I've had it for 2 months and I am very satisfied with it- no leaks at all. It's true that I have to fill it up twice to get a reasonable amount of water, the container being a little small but it's not a big deal. And it's not that heavy... i mean come on, people who complain about the weight of the pitcher, unless you're 80 years old or have a particular muscular disease, shame on you for not being able to lift up a pitcher to pour yourself a glass (consider going back to the gym ASAP) It's a great addition in a kitchen or for a dinner with friends. The design rocks.

Finally, great tasting water at home! I purchased this pitcher to utilize water from my tap rather than buying bottled water. I live in a rural area where the small city (less than 100 homes) provides water. But the taste has always been an issue. I've only been using the pitcher for about a week, but so far, I'm impressed and extremely happy about the water quality and the convenience of having the pitcher in the fridge. My fridge has a filtered water dispenser in the door, but it takes forever to fill a glass and it would be impractical to fill a pitcher from this dispenser. So far, I haven't had leakage in the handle as some others have reported. I'm wondering if this is not being caused during the filling process, but am keeping fingers crossed I don't experience the same thing. I have to fill the reservoir a little more than twice to fill the pitcher, so that's the only mild inconvenience. But due to the sleek design, I understand why that's the case. Another reason I chose the 8 cup pitcher over a 10-cup is because I didn't want to eat up shelf space in my fridge, on the counter or table when it's being used. It's definitely attractive enough to leave out during a meal. Currently, I'm having to refill the pitcher 1 to 1.5 times daily. Time will tell if the components last as long as I hope they do. But for now, I'm considering this a great pitcher!
Beautiful pitcher leaks This beautiful pitcher leaks from the open space at the handle when filling or if slightly tipped back when picked up if water gets to the handle level.
I returned it twice for leaking This pitcher looks really nice but it doesn't work at all. I bought one and it started leaking in less than a week. I exchanged it for a new one and it started leaking after 2 days. I DO NOT recommend this model.
Poor design/performance Loved the look of the stainless steel pitcher, unfortunately it leaks through the handle.
yes, its fantastic its the best thing i've liked in the recent past
Need more information I just purchased the stainless steel pitcher because it was the only model available locally. However, I can see the instruction pamphlet inside in the bottom, but there are no directions about how to open the pitcher to get them out. I'd love to use it if I could figure out how. But now I realize I could use one of the smaller pitchers and will return it to the store and order a smaller one online. THEN I'll let you know how I like it.
Love, Love, Love!!!! Growing up we ALWAYS had bottled water in the house to drink. So naturally when I got married I started keeping bottled water in the house until I realized how expensive and bad for the environment it was!!! I had heard about Brita through a friend and once I tasted the water out of the Brita pitcher I immediately went to Wal-Mart and bought me one I love it and so does my husband it makes it so easy and affordable to keep good clean water in the house and I can't thank Brita enough for bringing me a good quality affordable product that allows me to keep my family healthy!!!
