No more black residue!
I bought this filter to replace the 30 or more gallon jugs of water per month. This is a great alternative to reduce waste, is more cost efficient and tastes great! Not to mention the relief of not having to carry gallons of water.

It does the job
Didn't realize that pitchers do not filter cysts/living organisms/bacteria & i got water poisoning when we just had floods here in Austin, TX (i didn't find out about the water boil emergency until 2 days after they announced such for the city) BUT other than that the pitcher does the job!

Great Features!
I have been using Brita for years. And recently I have switched to the new filters that can be used for longer period of time. It is a lot more expensive. But it gives me more time before I have to change it. Very nice feature!

Lid falls off all the time when I am pouring and the lip does not pour water in a steady stream. Always mopping up after use.
