Ideal for busy families, offices and sports teams, the large-capacity Ultramax Water Dispenser holds almost twice as much water as our pitchers. System is made without BPA.

The Ultramax Water Dispenser, designed to sit on the counter yet slim enough to go in the fridge, keeps over a gallon of great-tasting filtered water within easy reach. It also reduces chlorine (odor and taste) and other contaminants from tap water.‡

  • How do I prepare and change the filter in my Brita® dispenser?
    1. Rinse your Brita® Original Filter with cold water for 15 seconds.
    2. Insert the filter into the reservoir by lining up the groove in the filter with the notch in the reservoir. Press firmly for a tight seal.
    3. Add cold tap water. Discard your first dispenser of filtered water or use it to water plants.
  • How often should I change my filter?

Your Brita® Ultramax Water Dispenser comes with a sticker filter indicator, so you’ll know exactly when to replace the Original Filter—every 40 gallons, or about every 2 months for most households.§ If you have hard water, you may need to change filters more often. Learn how to recycle used filters here. See how often to change other types of Brita® filters here.

§Time estimate based on 11 glasses per day for an average household.

  • How do I clean my Brita® dispenser?

Remove the filter and hand-wash the lid and reservoir with a mild soap. (Never use abrasive detergents or a dishwasher).
