How to Set Up Your Premium Filtering Water Bottle
Instructions
STEP ONE
Wash the bottle
Hand-wash* the bottle, cap and straw with mild dish soap and rinse well.
*Do not wash bottle in dishwasher. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
STEP TWO
Rinse the filter
Rinse your filter with cold water for 15 seconds.
STEP THREE
Insert filter into straw
Insert the filter firmly into the top of the straw (white tip upward).
STEP FOUR
Attach straw to lid
Align straw into the bottom of the lid and twist to the right.
STEP FIVE
Fill and enjoy
Fill your bottle with cold tap water and enjoy great-tasting water—and remember to replace your Bottle Filter every 2 months.

See all FAQs- Rinse your Brita® Bottle Filter under a strong stream of water for 15 seconds. Be sure to direct the water through all sides of the filter, including the inside, so it washes out any loose carbon particles (first-time use only).
- Insert the filter and press until flush with the straw.
- Align the lid and straw. Twist right to lock.
- Fill with cold water to the Max Fill line.
Our Stainless Steel Premium Filtering Water Bottles should be washed by hand. Remove the filter, and then hand-wash with mild dish soap and rinse well. (Never use abrasive detergents or a dishwasher.)
Our Hard-Sided Plastic Premium Filtering Water Bottles are dishwasher safe (top rack only). Remove the filter and place all plastic components, including the bottle and lid, in the top rack. If you prefer to hand-wash, use mild dish soap and rinse well.
